男孩與女孩的故事是一款另類的技巧型益智遊戲，玩家要在遊戲中邊伴隨著動人的戀愛故事，邊挑戰過關。




整個遊戲由幾個大關展開，第一小關是練習關，之後的每一個大關開始前都有一段愛情的詩句，而這個詩句就代表這個大關的玩法：



Once we were shadows.：我們被陰影籠罩著

利用Z鍵可以切換男女主角



When she saw me, she ran to me.：當他看到我，就會奔向我

男女主角處於同水平線，女主角就會往男主角移動



Then we walked together.：然後我們一起走

男女主角會做同方向移動與跳躍




Sometimes we had different views.：有時候，我們有不同的看法

男女主角會做反方向的移動與跳躍



And she was running away.：然後他開始離開

女主角會一直往前移動



Without her, I felt heavy like a rock.：沒有她，我覺得重得像一塊石頭

男主角不能跳，利用Z鍵可以切換男女主角



And I realized...：然後，我意識到......


男女主角視野變得極小



Once we were shadows.：當我們再次被陰影籠罩

Trust Me, I won\'t hurt you Not Anymore. My Dear Love：

我的最愛，相信我，我再也不會傷害你



遊戲的目的就是讓男女主角相遇，只要能完好無缺的碰上就會過關。另外，遊戲中有一些尖刺會殺死主角，跳躍的高度超過四格也會死亡，遇到無法過關的時候就可以用R鍵重新開始。
