電視頭條：緊急頭條！根據情報，格倫岩鎮已經被一群肉食性怪物入侵，我們呼籲大家留在家中緊閉門窗。



傑克：什麼？！這是開玩笑的嗎？



殭屍困境是一款過關型的定點防守遊戲，玩家要操作一名剛回到家的墨鏡傑克，面對突如其來的殭屍大軍，他必須要突圍出去，救出生存者，並且找回女友賽拉。



遊戲開始後玩家就會發現殭屍由畫面的右方出現，這時候玩家必須要以手槍開始攻擊。與一般的防禦型的遊戲不同，玩家並非用滑鼠瞄準與射擊，而是要用方向鍵來移動主角，然後用空白鍵開火射擊。當消滅全部的敵人後就會過關，過關後會掉落一個寶物，可能會掉金錢、武器、工具等等，然後會進入強化的頁面，玩家可以利用金錢來購買武器的升級。



往後的關卡殭屍的類型會愈來越多，在出現新殭屍的時候會在關卡開始前有個小簡介。而玩家也可以救出生存者，選擇給予生存者使用的武器就可以讓他們幫助攻擊喔。
